Tortoise newbie. I'm doing research on tortoises and thinking about getting one - just trying to do homework before making the investment. I've had a "pet" Box Turtle that hung around the yard while I was working in Tulsa, OK. He came and went as he pleased. Thought about taking him home to GA, but found out that they were illegal to keep in GA. Anyhow - I'll be lurking around until I figure out which Tortoise would best fit our environment.
