My twenty year old Sulcata has developed a large white sack in front of his left rear leg. Does anybody know what this could be. Would appreciate any ideas. P1050480.JPG his could be? It does not seem to bother him when he walks. Everything else seems normal.

Oh my. That's not normal. When you palpate it does it feel like water-filled or is it a hard mass? Give it a real close inspection to be sure there isn't a sticker or bee stinger or some such in it.

It is very soft and. Someone told me it might be fat he does eat almost every day. Funny you should mention Bee stinger the guy next door raises Bees but they rarely come in our yard.

This is a complete guess, but leopard geckos store fat and calcium in their armpit bubbles. Could it be something similar?

If it were fat or retained water it would not just affect one leg.

Does this area feel hotter than the rest of his skin?
I would recommend taking him to a vet, it may need to be lanced..
