Weed identification

Found this in a few spots in the lawn. It's in an area Crush cannot access. Anyone know what it is, if it is safe? If it is safe when I pull it I'll keep it for him.

Looks like ice plant but I'm I could be wrong.

Has strong woody roots. We had a dust storm blow through our backyard two weeks ago then really heavy rain. Every time that happens we wind up with a few new weeds in the yard so keeping a check on it and making sure they are safe.
