Urates normal?

After his soak this morning he finally left some urates in his soak tub. They look gritty, but they felt gel like.

Does this look normal?

Also, I have looked through previous threads and I'm a bit confused on the urates. If there are urates does that mean dehydration? And or her is getting too much protein?
