According to what I can find online this plant in question is Panicum oligosanthes. Aka panic grass. A quick search on here and the tortoise table no luck in finding that name of plant. Can some one help id this and let me know if sulcata can eat it

A few quick questions. Where are you located? Is this a perennial weed/grass that keeps growing? Does it ever flower?

If you can’t ID, don’t feed. There are lots of toxic plants out there So it’s wise to properly ID.

Your location can help a lot to help ID. I don't think your ID is correct. That does not look like Panicum oligosanthes. Panic grass has round stems and the blades emerge from the top of those stems.

I am located near the coast of NC. I just found it under some shade cover. I’m not sure if it flowers due to me just finding it. I have not fed this.
