I catch these guys all the time here in Texas, they are super tame snakes, and those big eyes are so gorgeous. Enjoy them.

Females can get up to 50" i think, but smaller is normal. Males get about 5 feet or so, bigger than females!!

I know!! I have that book " SNAKE" By Chris Mattison? I think? They are in there, a blonde phase, and that is what got me interested in the species. They were very hard to come by about seven years ago, but are gaining in popularity! Their eyes are incredible! But definitely a species you must raise slowly. My female CANNOT eat two meals at one time, like a bullsnake or ball python, she will absolutely regurge. One mouse once a week or every two. Ive had her for four years, I think?
