Tippy the Russian Tortoise

Hello, My daughter and I are new to the Tortoise "business". She just got Tippy about 6 weeks ago and he is more fun than we ever imagined. We live in on a farm and have 2 dogs, 5 ducks, a cockatiel, 3 rabbits, 4 cats, a hermit crab and Tippy, the Russian tortoise.
The reason I got on this forum is because Tippy had bubbles under one eye today...any ideas as to why?

Hi Janice:

Welcome to the forum!!

Sometimes bubbling eyes means the tortoise is too dry, or suffering from too much heat. Put him in a nice tub of tepid water and let him soak for a bit. Not too deep.

Can you give us some info on how you are keeping the tortoise? Inside? Outside?
