Just a few pics I took today and liked. I know Norm is not as impressive as some of the other tortoises on here but I love Norm. I don't know if my tortoise is a boy or girl yet so I call it Norm till I know if it's Norman or Norma ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1421015389.553960.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1421015414.236628.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1421015446.870411.jpgImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1421015548.386660.jpg

These pictures are just because I'm so proud of my tortoise I hope the experts on here will agree but please do let me know if you notice anything not right with Norm. I'm very attached to my tortoise.

Your tortoise looks wonderful. But his legs are at an odd angle due to the floor.

Letting a tortoise loose in the house is not a good idea. It seems like it should be, all that space, but there are so many hazards even when you watch them and don't blink. It's cold, it's not humid, it stresses the legs & feet & nails, they've been known to get lost or have things dropped on them and even get smashed in doors. They eat objects they find on the ground. You get the idea.

Even if his winter quarters need to be smallish, you can offer a large outdoor habitat for summer.
