Things in tort mouth?

Okay, recently i saw To-To yawm (It was adorable)

and i saw these seed like orange things on his tounge, and anything like that isnt by his pen, so what is it?

@Yvonne G or @tortadise or @Tom I have not really seen the inside of a torts mouth as much as the members I alerted, so maybe they might be able to tell you if it's something normal or not.

Seed like things were how big? Also what species and size is it? Tortoise toungues are quite rough and can have quite a large papillae. It can vary from species though. But the seed like references make me beloved it's something else. A photo would be great. Best way to get a photo would be a great dangled above and snapshot just before consumption(may take an assistant).

back from vacation, To-To hasnt appeared to act different but the seed like things appear to still linger
