The joy of being owned by a tortoise...

Even though it is some work, especially during the early years trying to keep up with everything to prevent pyramiding, I'm really enjoying being owned by a tortoise.

Whenever I see her eating and stumbling around in the enclosure, I smile. They do little things that make it all worth while. Can't wait for her to get big.

I never kept tortoises because I thought they were boring.

Now I only keep tortoises because they are the best pet you could have!

No fleas, no smells, no noises, no behavior problems. Just set them in a garden, sit back and watch
