Sulcata tortoise waking up early

Hi guys,

I noticed for the past couple days that my 3 years old Sulcata tortoise has been waking up early, about 7am. Is that normal, for him to change his sleep pattern suddenly?

Is he located outside? In the wild Sulcatas are usually more active early in the morning & late in the evening. Crepuscular activity. Sunrise this time of year is about 06:20 or so. Sooo, getting up & about to mooch about at 7am seems normal. Especially if you have very warm daytime temps.

The sudden change might have to do with local temps changes.
