Hi I have a five month old sulcata, I noticed this morning that the plastron is not very hard in the femoral (bottom) area I believe it's called it's not exactly super solft but it also isn't as hard as the rest of his shell and I was wondering is this normal?

On a tortoise that small?
Yes.
There was a yolk there not long ago and the area slowly heals, hardens and gets hard.
Time and a good UVB source will take care of it.
