Ive had him since June, hes pretty much just eaten and hid since I got him, the last week or so hes super active, he is all over his enclosure and is moving all of his stuff around. Is this because of the time of year? Im just curious as to what he is doing...

Did the temperatures change? Good to here he is more active! That is usually a good thing as long as it isn't too hot (sometimes when the temps get too warm the tort will either pace, or be inactive). Torts to go through funks where they will be less active, and times of more activity. Also, he may just be getting settled in well now. Some torts take longer.

the hot side of the enclosure is 100 degrees, is this too hot? He usually stays on the hot side and rarely ever goes to the cooler side, so I assumed he liked it.
