I have 2 female palm sized RES and I wanted to know how to make a pond for them. Someone had suggested buying a kiddie pool and burying it but I'm positive it needs a filter. Would I have to leave an area of dirt so they can lay eggs? I'd love some advice please :) Plus, my 4 inch pleco does very well with them can I add it to a pond as well?

I would not use a kiddie pool, but you can buy preformed outdoor ponds at hardware stores or other outdoor shops. You could also dig a hole and use a liner to make the pond whatever shape you wanted it. Yes you will need a filter and with turtles in a pond it will always be good to go bigger than the recommended filter size for your water just to keep it clean for the turtles.
