Hi, I'm just wondering if i can clean reptibark by blanching it in boiling water? I don't have the zoomed enclosure cleaner so I'm looking for alternative ways to clean it.

Yes, it wouldn't hurt.
Why though are you wanting to clean it?
Spot cleaning daily of poop and any food spread all over should be enough.

You can also put it in a 5 gallon bucket of water, agitate the water, rinse, then spread it on a tarp in he sun.

My tortoise got some stains with the reptibark, so we cleaned it using warm water.
I do not have any issue with staining afterwards.
And based on the limited time (less than 2 weeks), the reptibark seems to still hold moisture well after the wash.

And below are the 2 screen shots of the first wash and after 5-6 wash.

The tiny flies are called Spring-tails. They do not hurt the chelonia and they clean the old food and poop. While a lot of them can look yucky, they do good, not harm...
