Redfoot eggs!

A very exciting day here today! Our largest female Redfoot laid, what to us seem like huge eggs, 3 eggs! This will be very exciting if they hatch as we have raised the male Redfoot for years. He is one of the very first tortoises here. It will be amazing to hatch a baby from him. Fingers crossed they are fertile!!

I am not sure, she laid 2 last year that were not good. She is young and about 9 inches SCL, she still has some growing to do!

That is very good news, I wish you luck. 2-4 eggs per clutch is normal, my firstborn female laid a clutch of 10 eggs in Dec. She is my largest female, and turns 13 this month.
