this is crazy my male red ear sliders are trying to mate with my females but it's starting to get cooled and it's way past mating season can my females still lay there eggs in the winter time or will they just mate now and then lay there eggs next year in july ?

My males do most of their breeding in the cooler months when the females are shut down. It's a lot easier to catch them, unlike when they're warmed up and moving around come spring.
