So I have read a few people's posts about quarantining plants and am voluptuous about a few things. I understand the reason for it but not how to go about it. How long do you quarantine? Do you care for them any differently? Any other tips that might be handy?

Thanks in advance

Well, there are several reason I would think of to quarantine plants. Pesticides, fertilizers and bugs. For bugs it would be a short period of a week or two to ensure no pests appear. For pesticides and fertilizers however it is a year or so before that stuff is out of the plants system and safe for your pet (consumption, either accidental or on purpose). Many suggest growing your own plants to avoid this issue.

Good luck!

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I'm totally looking into growing all my own plants.
