[RV's mom]

is a feral rescue. We found her - all 4 ounces of her - screaming in the desert heat. One eye closed up... We nursed her back to health and she is the queen inside the house. While growing up she went through phases - Xenia warrior princess, and then Spawn of Satan. I think she still has multiple personalities, altho the sweetie pie is the one that usually shows up.

sweet and petite, small boned and still quite feral at heart. She is a love.

I love stories like that. I got a kitten last year that I would have never picked out myself and she is now the love of my life, a sweet funny very different kitty. She retrieves and talks and several other things. Her name is Maks, when she was a boy her name was Max, but I took him to be neutered but he/she was spayed instead! She already came to her name so I didn't want to change it. Altho now I see it's quite common...
