Hi folks,
I'm considering selling my Russian Tortoise (Dumbledore). Finances are stretched quite thin for the foreseeable future, for various reasons, and I'm worried that I won't be able to give him the care he deserves. I don't want to sell him, but weighing up the options, it could possibly be in Dumbledore's best interests.
I haven't fully decided yet, but I will not be selling him to just anybody. Unfortunately, experienced reptile owners are few and far between in this country.
Has anyone any advice on successfully rehoming a tortoise? Any questions I should definitely ask the potential new owners? Any pit falls to worry about?
