I have a bunch of these growing around a fig tree in my yard were I want my outdoor enclosure. Any ideas. I spent about an hour out there earlier pulling them up and it sucks. They grow really fast and are between a bush/tree type plant. All pics are same type.

Forgot to add im in southwest louisiana.

I'm in southeast Louisiana (Covington). It kind of reminds me of Russian Olive. It grows like crazy and can be a big shrub or a small tree. If it IS Russian Olive, it is a real pest because the root system is very vigorous and large: it out-competes nearby plants and they starve slowly. We had some by our fig trees, and the figs did not do too well so we took out all but one Russian Olive. But they're pretty, evergreen and grow fast if you're looking for a good barrier/privacy plant. Of course, I could be completely wrong, and it's not Russian Olive at all, but it does kind of look like it.

From those pics it looks like wild privet, Ligustrum vulgare. It's a noxious weed in much of south Louisiana. Google it to see if it looks like your weed.
