Pete Moss is 6 inches long, is he big enough to tell what sex he is?

Here are some pics, just in case. If he's not big enough to be sure, I will ask again when he's a bit bigger.

It's definately a Northern,what locale I'd be afraid to say.Looks like a female now,but it's still too small to know for sure.

Northern, sex= ?. I have a cherryhead that was called a girl a year ago happily mounting the girls this year. It's often a wait and see game.

Looks female to me though I agree still to young to know for sure.

my guess would be he is just starting to show male signs, for 2 reasons, my males shell drops off steeply in the back compared to females of the same size, just like yours and also the "hole"is located more towards the end of the tail.
