OK plant?

have many tomato plants outside and i wanna plant some in my ornate wood turtles tank to make it look more natural. she will not eat anything that doesnt move so i douht she would bother with the tomato plant

Tomato leaves are toxic, but I doubt a turtle would sample any.

Yvonne is correct. In the wild, turtles don't have anyone going around telling them which plants are okay to eat and which aren't. A turtle's sense of smell is far superior to that of a human's, and them eating a toxic plant is unlikely unless they're very hungry or just wanting to sample them. Many "toxic" plants are actually ideal for a turtle enclosure.

cool, thanks so much! i feed her alot of crickets and things like that, so i think she would be fine.

The tomatoes are fine you could also use parlor palms, and arrow head vines. Angelonia is another plant that could work as are sweet potatoes which are also found in Central America.
