hi!
I have a ten month old horsfield
He's normally eating loads and wandering about but lately all he does is sleep and not touch his food
Could this be due to hibernation or is a trip to the vets in order ?
Many thanks

A very warm welcome to the forum!:tort:

How long have you had him for? Torts take time to adapt to change. And whereabouts do you live? Torts lose appetite/hibernate in Winter.

Please post pictures of your tort and its enclosure so as to enable the experts to help you, and good luck!:)

Hi Theresa, and welcome to the Forum!

I doubt a trip to the vet is in order just yet. Answer Gillian's questions and we'll try to help you.

lots of things can affect a tortoise changes to the environment temperature light cycle many different factors to consider. I also agree I don't think a vet trip is needed yet.
