These all hatched out today, plus 35 more that were still hanging out in their eggs. They'll probably be out in the morning. Thanks for looking.

The parents were albino and hets and those came from 8 clutches. I think I'm at 160 perfect albinos and a whole pile of extra scutes, don't know the exact number as of tonight.

Perfect ones go to Asia, and extra scutes stay back for us Americans, with our low standards and low income!!??

I never worried about a small split scute here or there. Just made it more probable that the little turtle would turn out to be a female..

I sell some perfects here, only China doesn't buy extra scutes. Everyone else is cool with them. Also, I get a even amount of male and female splits, I'm doing some expeirements to try and reduce it. I'm actually having good success this year.

That's great, and interesting news. I love that you are willing to share photos and info like this, because it really is great education for us all.

So so cool man.

Incredible! I'm glad to see dedicated turtle breeders do so well.
