The insulated house isn't finished yet, so I still bring Lois indoors at night, but this is her new outdoor enclosure. It will be finished by next week I hope. She really likes the barrel hide. We left the bottom in it so she can't burrow under.

Great yard! Her house is nice :D I'm sorry to ask, but why don't you want her to burrow? It's completely natural and gives your tort something to do and make her yard, well, hers.

I don't want her burrowing because I'm concerned she'd get out of the pen. The rest of my yard is not fenced in and I'm surrounded by fields on 3 sides and a highway on 1. I just don't want to chance her digging out of the pen.
