Hey everyone [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]
I was giving my boxie a soak and some sunshine earlier today and noticed a lighter colored area and wondered if it was new growth?

First of all that's a gorgeous turtle. But to answer your question Yes that is new growth. Your turtle looks happy and healthy

Thank you! She is such an interesting and fun turtle. I could spent hours on end just watching her.
I was a little surprised to see new growth, as I assumed she was fully mature and done growing. Obviously not!

What a gorgeous girl!!!!!! The first time I saw growth on my turtles, I freaked out. They had grey lines all over them. when I finally found out they were growing, I was so happy!
