This is my box turtle Bean.
I've had him for 7 years, he is the most gentle, kind, and shy turtle I've met.
I just wanted to share his story with other turtle lovers.
I bought him from a huge pet store in Chicago. His shell had a huge crack, holes and you can see an outline of his spine thru his shell. Since owning him it doesn't seem to bother/impact him. About 3 years ago I moved to Colorado and he seems even happier here. I was able to give him a better living area since I got a bigger home.
