I am absolutely thrilled to announce my first tortoise! His full name is Baby Dyno Groot. I call him Groot. I got him from @Carol S and he is a few days shy of 3 months old. I absolutely adore him. I imagine some may say there is no such thing as a tortoise having a personality, however, this boy came out of that package saying, "Here I am!" I soaked him in water and in minutes, he was following my voice before the half-hour was up, he was moving his legs. It took him a while to eat -- he burrowed in his humid hide for a while. I thought he could use some warming up and put him under the basking light. That's when he moved into high gear; checking out his new home, and eating like a champ. Here is Groot in all his glory.
