Hope you don't mind giving your opinion. I know very little history on my new redfoot craiglist find. About 5 " SCL. She is doing great so far and I really enjoy him/her!

My guess is male ... but 5" is still kind of little to tell.

Great! I've got a one for male, one for female! Anyone else out there that wants to put their guess in to change the stats? The plastron is not at all concave, which I was looking for like I do in my box turtle. But it only measures 4 1/2 inches (just double checked) so maybe a bit young to tell?
Just trying to come up with a good name for this long term pet!

The anal acutes at the moment look male, but the short tail with the cloaca so close to the end suggest female. It's really too hard to tell at this stage.

I'm with Matt, but Dan is rarely wrong (at least according to his fans- I have not kept track! :) )
