looking for help

should i wake my tortoises up in the morning? currently i do they bask then go back in there hide, i get them out again later for a soak and a walk about and once they are sorted i pop them back in the viv and after a bit they go back to there hide. is it natural for them to sleep loads? I've and them 4 weeks now so its become sort of a routine (just hope I'm doing it right). thanks.
