When I feed her on her rock she insists on moving the food to the mulch and eating it there.

Is it harmful if so is ingested?




I realize she's not doing it in the pic...I just like showing of the tort...and I know she's too small to be sure it's a she...but that's what I'm going with for now

I would avoid letting her eat directly off of the wood type substrate...if she eats it there could be an issue while trying to pass it on out....Perhaps you can try a flat clay type tile to feed her on so she will have a larger spot to sit and eat on/from....?
