Oh my. Is it just me, or is that tortoise's eyes extremely swollen? Very pretty otherwise...
I thought so at first, but then realized that being albino, the red is natural. I think its just the light-colored skin around the eye. $4000 for a baby!! Can you imagine? If its female, would make a nice companion for Aladar!!
Maybe that's what it is, but I still have my concerns. I could swear I see a black pupil (so it wouldn't be albino, just ivory), and the membrane/flesh over and around the eye doesn't just seem "pink," but unnaturally thick--hence, swollen. At least, that's what I'm seeing... It would be nice if I'm wrong, though, lol.
