Is it okay to put timothy hay in my tortoise's enclosure? I read that they can eat it and i thought it might be a good idea to put some in the corner of his enclosure so he eat or play in it.

I put timothy hay in all my tortoise enclosures. Sometimes they eat it - sometimes they don't. It won't hurt them any and they love to dig in it. Just don't let it get wet and moldy. :)

Timothy hay is absolutely fine for Hermann's tortoises. Mine of all ages always have timothy hay present to graze on in between feedings. Keep it dry if piled up and if it gets scattered around, which it likely will, remove what you can about weekly and add new.

Okay thanks!!!. I went ahead and bought some. Hopefully my tortoise finds some use for it.
