Hello, I was asked to give my kiddo's preschool some advice on whether they should adopt this little guy, and they sent me this photo. Can anyone ID? They said it was a "tortoise" but I couldn't tell from the photo. Pretty sure I would advise a preschool is not a great situation for any species, but wanted to know what they had, to start with....Thanks!!

Hermans tortoise is what it looks like to me .

...and the aquarium is way too small.

Tortoises should not live in preschools. The animal suffers and it's carers don't get the chance to really learn its care.

Not a good idea for a preschool how about a fish tank those are great for kids
