I bought my leopard tortoise, Scutes, around 4 years ago when he was a hatchling. Back then I really didn't read the right information and was pretty ignorant when it came to baby tortoises, so Scutes does have a good bit of pyramiding. I don't believe that the pyramiding is still growing.
My question however is at what age does a tortoise not need a large amount of humidity? I know now that as a hatchling, torts need a good amount of humidity in their enclosures, but does a 4 year old leopard like Scutes need any humidity in his enclosure? And if so what amount? Thanks
