Ok, so they are both some type of hingeback. She has had them 2 months. Has no idea what species ("breed," as she put it) they are, yet is "pretty sure" they're male/fenale. Umm...
I'll post the pic she sent, as soon as I can get it to upload..
There is two in that one small tank? OMG, she's an idiot. Doesn't anyone ever use common sense any more. Have you emailed her to at least advise her to get a cheap plastic tote box and house them in that until she rehomed them. If they are both in that tank, they must not be able to move. Poor things.
Jacqui, maybe someone can get them for you and ship?
I'll send her a little bit of care info... Is there anyone in the IE/LA/OC area who would want to adopt or who could ship to Jacqui? I might be able to do as much as negotiate with her and foster for a few days... Hmm...

I passed along Kristina's caresheet and told her the cage wasn't adequate. Hopefully she'll take some measures to improve conditions in the meantime.
I sometimes wonder if people like this are as serious as they claim about rehoming. I'm trying to negotiate pick up, but s/he seems very opposed to taking 5 minutes to meet with me. Well, wish me luck! With enough of it, maybe I'll be saving these babies from their nightmare soon... I have today and friday, let's hope for sooner than later.
Bad news.. He just texted to inform me that a "facebook friend" wants to buy them, and therefore he won't let me rescue them. I asked him to at least make sure the friend researches their care... Ugh, I feel so sad for these babies!!
While it would have been nice knowing they were going into a home with more proper care being given, but maybe they are and we just don't know it. The important thing is you tried. I applaud you for all the time and work you did on their behalf.
