Hey guys, new to the forum! Don't have my tort yet, but I didn't want to jump into it blindly. Been looking at getting a Sulcata for about a year now, finally decided I'd get everything set up for it. This site seemed terrific for tortoise owners and had lots of great advice, so I figured I should join and collaborate with other tortoise lovers while I embark on this lifelong adventure

Hi! Life long and adventure are certainly great words to use for caring for a tortoise. What about the sulcata draws you to them?

@jacqui actually what drew me into sulcatas initially was their cute face. My gf started working with them about a year ago, and after getting to know the little guys I just fell in love. Never knew a tortoise could have such an energetic personality! What really drew me in was how smart they seem to be and how sweet.
