Help with Tortoise Boarding - Colorado Springs

Hi all!

So, my girlfriend and I are traveling to Florida tomorrow night and we thought we had a solid plan to board our Sulcata hatchling with Scales and Tails up in Castle Rock. However, those guys told us to call closer to when we leave (we called last weekend) and when we did (yesterday), they said they were all booked up!!! Geez! So, her and I are stuck with what to do with our little cutie.

Our question, is there any place that can board a Sulcata tortoise for us?? I really don't want to risk taking him with us. But, at the same time, we don't have anyone that's willing to take care of the guy (I've tried my co-workers,but the ones I trust are out next week). We're just looking for someone reputable and akin to us tortoise lovers. Our final, worst case plan is to travel with him (by plane, unfortunately...).

That's really bad of Scales and Tails in my opinion.

Ask at your vet's office. Maybe they can suggest someone or someone at the office might like to watch him.
