Help... (ridge on tortoise's back)

I have had my tortoise for two weeks now and I recently noticed a ridge right down the middle of its central scute. Looking back on photos of when I bought the tortoise I noticed it was there then. So surprised as to why I didn't notice this before, but I was just wondering would the causes could be? Is it an early sign of pyramiding? No other scutes have anything abnormal just this one... thanks, will post a picture, of one now and one when I bought it.. Thanks for your help

A tortoise's spine is fused to the underside of his carapace. What you're seeing is perfectly normal.
