i have a pair of Russians and a Leopard which are being housed inside for winter. I'd like to plant some hastas and maybe spider plants in their enclosures.
their substrate is a mix of peat moss, top soil and coco fiber, is that suitable to grow plants in? or should i have a planter box with organic planting soil just for them?
I'm kinda assuming they'll eat it, but if not the hastas would be perfect shade and I'm sure they'll love the added color
any thoughts? different plants? easier ones or maybe ones they won't eat? I'm also thinking of throwing a slab of sod in as well
