I was just curious as to what everyone is feeding their year old box turtles? I have a large variety, however they are eating less and less veggies and want more and more meat. I do calcium powder in/on their food twice a week sometimes and some gut loaded formula on and off. Just curious because I want to give them the largest variety of good foods.

I mostly feed protein (red wigglers, wax worms, meal worms, tiny crickets) when they are that young, but as they get older I make a mix of sweet potato, cooked, carrots, cooked, soaked turtle brittle, mushrooms, greens, veggies, fruit and some ground venison. I chop it all up into tiny pieces and add a sprinkle of calcium powder. I give this in the AM, and then in the afternoon I give a worm or some other live protein.
