He's not on wood chips anymore but coconut coir instead this was just the photo the person I got him from sent and it's better than what I've been able to take. About 4.5" shell and 7-8 months old. What's a suitable night temp for him? I've been keeping it between 80-85 or so at night and adding a basking spot at night and keeping humidity at 60-70%.

Cutie, congrats. Don't let temps go below 80 and humidity at 80 until about 2 yrs. no basking light at night, darkness. Basking light for 12 hours during the day, unless you can get him outside.

No outdoor time for a month or so, I live in central canada so it's still only getting up to 5 degrees. I was under the impression over 50% was good but I can raise it if needed, and I definitely meant I hve a basking light on during the day and shut it of leaving only his CHE's on at night.

My laundry room is 25' x 12' and all that's in there is a washer and dryer. 80% of that space can be outfitted to be his winter pen.
