I am getting a cherryhead and I have a wooden eclosure. Should I get something else as I am worried if I put in humidifier wood would rot? Any advice on enclosure type for cherryhead hatchling?

The doors are made of glass that slides in tracks. The walls are made of 1/2 inch thick expanded PVC plastic material. This is the same inert non-toxic PVC that pipes for drinking water are made of. It never leaks. It holds in heat and humidity very well. It never rots. Its impervious to water. Is it plastic or glass?
