And my plant id's moderate at best.
But I think you're right.
It looks like Geranium carolinianum to me, checking with google.
I understand that all geraniums are safe for tortoises, so it should be fine.

Hi Frananne, if you have an idea of the name check on www.thetortoisetable.org.uk they will help with the ID and tell you if it's safe or not.
Yes to the Geranium. To the right of it, is a very similar-looking leaf, but it is a Ranunculus - don't feed that - buttercups are toxic.
