I've had my Tort Murphy 5 months now and he has grown considerably. It's hard for me to notice but it doesn't look to me like he's pyramiding. How am I doing, does his shell look good? The first 2 pics are when I first got him, and the second 2 are today.

Thank you @Jay Bagley and @daniellenc that makes me feel good. I really haven't had any trouble with humidity. Murphy shares a room (not enclosure) with 6 water turtle brothers and sisters in an open top 75 gallon and 55 gallon tank. So the humidity in the room stays around 75%. Even though his enclosure is closed, I think this makes it easier to keep it at 90-95%.

Looks good. You can tell he’s grown fast before you got him. Your new growth looks slower. It will be pretty hard to get that tortoise to pyramid from the stage that you got it at. Do you know how it was cared for before you got it? It looks farm bred.

Unfortunately I don't know how he was cared for. I was planning a hatchling, I had a breeder who was traveling here for a local reptile show bringing me a hatchling but had car trouble and didn't make it. I ended up seeing Murphy at another vendor table. The guy had 3, none pyramided, so I felt ok getting him. The guy said he was "imported" and had no idea where from, or his age.

I've wondered too, even though I'm sure the chances are highly unlikely, that if him and the other RF on here with blue eyes originated in the same location.
