How can I confirm the accuracy of a humidity gauge? We had 1 temp and 1 humidity gauge. We picked up a second so we could monitor the cool side and basking side. The original gauge has been showing 20 %. The new shows 60%. We thought the difference might have been because one was down by wood chips the other was up by the screen. So I set both gauges next to each other. Still have readings of 20 and 60%. Thanks JJ

The only way I know of Is to compare it to the humidity of where you live, and what the weather man says. Then put your gauges outside and see what they read. Hopefully others might know a different way. Also, if you are using the little flat round disc ones from the pet stores, they usually aren't that accurate to begin with
