different grow pace?

I got 2 indian star in my care right now, and I did some research about their grow pace, and I found this

on 17th july 2013
Meter weight around 50 gram and had 5,5 cm in long
Mile weight around 60 gram and had 6,2 cm in long

and just this morning I tried to measure them again

Meter weight become 59 gram (only gain 9 gram in the past 6 month)
his long become 5,8 cm (gaining 0,3 cm in the past 6 month)

but this is where i dumb found about the grow rate

Mile weight become 118 gram (he gain 58 gram in the past 6 month)
his long became 7,5 cm (gaining 1,3 cm in the past 6 month)


I give them same caresheet , same food and event the same sun bathing..

why are their grow rate become so different? it almost 2 times

Just a guess, but Mile is eating his food and meter's food also.

Could be the pair dynamics at play.

It would be interesting to see if any notable difference occurred after a separation of the 2 torts or the introduction of a third.

In addition to the above mentioned distinct possibilities, it could also have to do with how they were started right after hatching.

Just a guess, but Mile is eating his food and meter's food also.

Hmm it could be , I'll try to start seperate their meal on tommorow I'll update again after a few week

After I seperate their meal , yes meter has gain some weigh , last time i check is about 65 gram so did mile became 125 gram after this i have to seperate them when it's meal time
