Hi everyone I am new to the site and already have questions. I have had a male desert for a little over 2years and just this year rescued a female desert. They have gotten along very quickly, and she burrowed a nice hole for the 2 of them to chill,in but now they very seldom come out to sun. What do I need to do if anything. Cheers Jack

Welcome to the Forum, Jack.

You may have to make another burrow. When two tortoises use the same burrow, it sometimes happens that one of them will block the entrance and the other one can't get in...or out if they're already in.

Another thing to consider is that the days are getting shorter and the nights a lot cooler. They might just be thinking about where they are going to hibernate.

Thank you I was kind of thinking that. I have been bringing the male into the house to hybernate so I guess this is a good clue. Last year the male started hybernation around November.
