Seeing lots of veins at 4wks. 4 out of 5 of her eggs look just like the picture. The 5th egg I am hoping just needs more time, I think there is some veins but they are not as clear. image.jpg

Think she may be laying another clutch today, caught her digging test holes last night. She has been working on one today for the past hour now. image.jpgimage.jpg

It is so exciting to watch the eggs develop and then hatch. I never grow tired of it. I cannot wait until Spring when my Russian and Desert tortoises wake up. I miss them when they are hibernating. Post pictures when the eggs hatch.

image.jpg Seeing good chalking on all 3 eggs laid in her second clutch. 7 days today.
image.jpg image.jpg These two eggs are from her first clutch, they are 5wks into incubation. Out of the 5 eggs laid in the first clutch 4 are developing good. The 5th looks like it may have died early or been infertile unfortunatly.
